Ichron Limited are geological consultants based in Cheshire, UK, established in 1995 to occupy a niche market in the field of integrated geoscience consultancy (currently involving biostratigraphy, chemical stratigraphy, core description and depositional modelling, reservoir quality evaluation and the provision of laboratory services).

Ichron has grown significantly, both in terms of staff numbers and the range of consulting services offered since our inception. We take great pride in our experienced workforce, with a significant number of our geoscientists having fifteen or more year’s industrial experience in the consulting sector. Furthermore, the multi-ethnic nature of the workforce ensures a rich diversity of cultural perspectives. Amongst our geoscientists we are lucky to include a number of acknowledged experts in specific areas of reservoir description, chemical stratigraphy and biostratigraphy. This ensures the application of state-of-the-art techniques under-pinned by the latest scientific understanding. To reflect this, many staff members have a significant publishing record.
