Our chemical stratigraphy division has been awarded the analysis and interpretation of several key wells exploring onshore Poland. This has also involved rapid turnaround or ÔHotshotÕ analysis being undertaken to deliver results within hours of sample delivery.
Ichron has been working extensively on projects in India since 2005. Our demand in the region has expanded rapidly and we now supply integrated reservoir geology, biostratigraphy, chemical stratigraphy and geochemical services routinely. We are about to embark on another major project in the region which will ensure another active year in 2012.
Ichron have a successful history providing biostratigraphic and sedimentological studies in the region for several majors operating in the region. This has included several wellsite biostratigraphic projects. We are currently undertaken a review of the NCMA region building on our extensive experience offshore T&T.
Ichron is currently undertaking a multi well, multi discipline biostratigraphic evaluation of the Peregrino Field in the Campos Basin. This follows on from Ichrons multi client studies offshore Brazil and builds on our experience in the region.
Ichron has established with our partners ETS Limited a fully working laboratory based in Damman, KSA with wellsite capability. All of our services are being offered in country, alongside the potential integration with those services being offered by ETS further information can be found at www.etsconsultants.com.
The Barents Sea has been a major focus for Ichron as we understand the importance of exploration in the region. Our multi client studies have been in high demand and have been widely licensed. Ichron has reviewed or interpreted every well which has been released from the Barents Sea. We are now working on the latest updates to our multi client studies available in 2011/2012.
Our North Sea experience is expansive and covers decades of work covering sediments of all ages. Currently we are mobilising three fleets for wellsite biostratigraphy and wellsite chemical stratigraphy alongside working on several large studies for operating companies into Q1 2012. Our expertise in understanding regional complexities has been key to our success and providing the integrated approach ensures continued demand.
The West of Shetlands has been a core area of expertise for Ichron with a proven track record covering hundreds of wells. Ichron have been instrumental in the area in providing the biostratigraphic understanding and framework for the region and have numerous multi-client studies to reflect this. Our work continues in the region with numerous wellsite projects lined up for 2012.
Coal seam gas exploration in Queensland is increasing and Ichron is actively working in country providing core description services, proving our ability to work in any geographic location and demonstrating the demand for our expertise. Dr. Andrew Taylor has also delivered trace fossil training courses in country in 2011.
Ichron has established itself in the region having completed biostratigraphic studies on every well drilled to date. We have also provided petrographic services on a number of wells assessing the reservoir quality. Our stratigraphic understanding of the region is highly regarded and work continues for the operating companies exploring hydrocarbons in this high profile area of the world.
Our presence in Gabon has grown rapidly over the past couple of years. We have been providing biostratigraphic services for companies exploring in the region and we have built up a high level of understanding of the regional stratigraphy. We have projects ongoing which will continue into 2012.
The high profile exploration programme on the Mannar Basin offshore Sri Lanka will provide Ichron with the opportunity to demonstrate the value of an integrated approach with sedimentology petrography, biostratigraphy, geochemistry and chemical stratigraphy services being supplied.
Following on from last years successful drilling campaign in this high profile exploration area Ichron were selected to provide wellsite biostratigraphy support once again. Utilising the NaviSTRATª concept providing mutli disciplinary wellsite services on two drilling rigs we were able to demonstrate the importance of an integrated approach with logistical support from a single contractor.
Ichron is currently undertaking a multi well, multi discipline biostratigraphic evaluation from the Cano Sur and Llanos basin. This is in addition to providing 'in-house' biostratigraphic and laboratory training to one of the major operating companies in country.
