North Viking Graben & Horda Platform Stratigraphic Database

The North Viking Graben and Horda Platform Stratigraphic Database comprises of a 51 well dataset that encompasses the majority of the fields and hydrocarbon discoveries from this part of the North Sea Basin.

This includes the Brage, Frigg, Hild, Odin, Oseberg and Troll Fields areas. The stratigraphic interval includes the Tertiary – Triassic including the main hydrocarbon bearing units of the Tertiary (Frigg and Ty) and Jurassic – Triassic, (Sognefjord, Fensfjord, Krossfjord, Ness, Etive, Oseberg, Cook and Statfjord formations).

The study utilises the Ichron sequences which are calibrated with the North Sea lithostratigraphic nomenclature and also incorporates the Norlex terminology.
